Experienced Control System Engineer – Field Services Team

Novaspect, Inc, an Emerson Local Business Partner, the global leader of process systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for an experienced Control System Engineer in our fast paced, customer orientated Field Services team in our Greenville (Appleton), WI location. The successful candidate would assist our Control System engineering customers and project teams in the development, delivery, on-going maintenance and optimization of our state of the art process control solutions for our industrial customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

	Distributed Control System commissioning and startup
	Distributed Control System troubleshooting and problem resolution
	On-site control system modifications and tuning
	Participation with multiple active control system customers
	Coordination of Emerson field services engineering team
	Maintenance training
	Assist in the quotation and technical sales support of control system field service solutions
	Troubleshoot field instrumentation and valve related situations
	Troubleshoot and install Microsoft operating systems
	Troubleshoot computer related problems
	Troubleshoot and install networks
	Setup interfaces to PLCs, Drives and Bus-Based Networks
	Setup Active Directories, Terminal Services and User Accounts

Education and/or Experience:

	B.S. Degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
	5+ years in the control system engineering field

	Provide excellent oral and written communications
	Travel to customer facilities
	Participate in on-going learning (latest technologies)
